Thanksgiving, DVCCA style! On November 18, 2001, we celebrated Thanksgiving a bit early at Banana Garden in Albany. We had over 55 people enjoying many good dishes from all around Southeast Asia. Everyone seems to enjoy good eating and good entertainment provided by the lucky karaoke singers (with help from such talent as Alvin Lui and CAPA President, Joel Wong. new father, James Pua looks on A packed house for DVCCA's Thanksgiving CAPA President, Joel Wong has other talents Vallejo Napa Chinese Club President, Robin Leong is ready to eat. Next to him is Joyce Chen from the Chinese newspaper, Sing Tao and our VP Ellen Osmundson One of our honored guests was artist Mr. Wen On Qiao who created this painting to celebrate NYC after the 9/11 attacks. It proudly remembers the city with the twin towers.
